The estranged wife of former Rep. Chip Pickering (R-Miss.), who served 12 years in Congress before retiring in January, has filed a lawsuit against his alleged mistress, claiming their adulterous relationship ruined the Pickerings’ marriage and his political career,” according to Politico.com.
Pickering’s infidelity allegations make him third anti-gay politican to give “C Street” church reputation as hangout for family-values hypocrites.
Pickering, like Sen. John Ensign (R-Nev.) and South Carolina Gov. Mark Sanford, have lived in a Christian fellowship home on C Street. Both Ensign and Sanford have been the subjects of adultery scandals in recent weeks.
You just cannot trust adult men who go by the name “Chip!”
Jokes aside, this guy left behind four sons. What a bastard. It is ironic that PIckering railed against gay marriage while he was dishonoring his own wedding vows – just as Ensign and Sanford did. When will the Republican Party learn to set aside moralizing – particularly since so many of their politicans are total pigs?
I wonder how Rush Limbaugh will spin this fiasco?

I notice that there is currently a mad search going on to find photos of his current Mistress, Elizabeth Creekmore-Byrd. Her family owns Cellular South and she apparently owns Chip,too. She has helped derail his political career and has secured him a job as a lobbyist for the family business. “Liz” once showed up at a family ski trip to tell his wife and kids that their husband/father was HERS. How’s THAT for stellar “family values”?
This doofus is also associated with the blossoming scandal of the “C-Street” house that doubles as an apparent frat-house style brothel for the Republican leaders who claim to be pious, all the while screwing over tax payers with their excesses and screwing over the trust of their families and basically just SCREWING A LOT at the expense of everyone who is at their mercy.
It’s just a near-daily meltdown of these Xtian Taliban hypocrites.

These Reeps cloak themselves in Jesus and preach family values and try and legislate the morality of society.
Dems for the most part leave the Bible thumping to Sunday mornings and rarely run campaigns based on so-called “family values”.

The difference, as many have pointed out to you, is that these Republicans are holy rollers – while they cheat on their wives. Similarly, they are all anti-gay marriage and yet they do not respect their own Christian marriages.
I expect Democrats to be a mess. I used to expect Republicans to be better. I now know that they are, if anything, even worse than their blue counterparts.

For the record I found former Democratic Congressman Gary Condit to be a total scumbag and I am glad to see him dragged thru the mud for his extra-marital affairs.
Condit, like most of these Reeps, was a total hypocrite. He preached family values and condemned President Clinton in very harsh terms for the Lewinsky affair.
Condit was horrible towards Clinton and all the while he was cavorting with women who weren’t his wife.
