The Santa Margarita Water District held a Regional Water Forum yesterday, to bring together legislators and key water administrators to discuss the issues our state faces today regarding one of our most important resources…water. Water is currently being rationed in Long Beach, and many communities in San Diego used up their water supplies while fighting the recent firestorm.
Here is the official press release regarding this important meeting:
From Sacramento to Orange County, water (or the lack thereof) is on everyone
To be fair, Solorio didn’t really say we need “no storage.” He just wante dto focus more on conservation and reuse, stating concerns about the State paying for reservoirs that may only benefit (in his words) a small segment of the population.
We really need focus on reuse and conservation
Maybe he will tell his buddy Pulido to quit planning the 4000+ new housing units. Doubt it.
