Lying Young Kim Loves Jim Jordan, Fears Allyson, laughs at Joe Kerr.

Did you hear the one about the allegedly “moderate,” “independent” Republican Congresswoman who voted, twice, THRICE, to make rabid insurrectionist trainwreck Jim Jordan Speaker of the House, two heartbeats from President, even while 22 25 of her Republican colleagues were brave and patriotic enough NOT to do that?

That Congresswoman was Young Kim, representing the North OC / multi-county 40th Congressional District. She’ll be facing one of two Democrats in next year’s election, “former firefighter” Joe Kerr or Tustin school board trustee Allyson Damikolas. Young Kim seems more worried about facing Allyson.

Lately I’ve been reading and enjoying Young Kim’s fundraising e-mails which I get at my old AOL address, along with immeasurable other junk. I couldn’t get over how, over the weekend, she told her marks that she’d “flipped a DEEP BLUE seat RED for the FIRST TIME in 26 years!” How exciting and admirable that must have sounded to Republican rubes across the nation who didn’t know any better and reached deep in their pockets for ten bucks to send to this amazing woman that could pull of such a stunt in CALIFORNIA!

You and I know nothing resembling that ever happened. It sounds like she took her old nemesis Sharon Quirk-Silva‘s story and turned THAT upside-down: It was Sharon who turned a forever-RED district BLUE; Young Kim briefly won that district back and then lost it to Sharon two years later. But who cares, right, we’re on to the NEXT fundraising e-mail.

And TODAY’S was a doozy! Tragic and apocalyptic in tone, under the subject line “Running Out of Options,” it – well, let me just copy it over here:

It’s Young and I’ll keep this brief—I just need you to know what’s at stake.

I’m running out of options and the chance of defending my seat against the far-Left and their mega-million war chest is getting smaller as we speak.

• I am one of the White House’s TOP 18 targets for 2024.
• Joe Biden and Nancy Pelosi personally fundraised against me in California. 
• Nancy Pelosi’s PROTEGE created a PAC to specifically attack me.
• My far left opponent raised 100K on her FIRST DAY after jumping into my race.
• I am California’s newest Senator’s TOP TARGET.
• An extreme Leftist billionaire is personally TARGETING me.

The odds of us DEFENDING CA-40 and keeping my seat RED in 2024 are not looking good, Friend.

I’m afraid if we don’t act soon I’ll have to throw in the towel for good. But I really don’t want to have to give up the fight yet. 

I don’t have mega-million elite donors filling up my war chest, I have always relied on my strong grassroots supporters, and this time isn’t any different. If I have any hope of defending my seat against the far-Left’s power grabs, it will be because of people like you.

If everyone reading this email gave just $3 in the next 24 hours, it would help our campaign have the resources we need to keep going…

This e-mail leaves me with a lot of questions, first of which is, IS ANY OF THIS TRUE? (And I hope so.)

• Did Biden and Pelosi “personally fundraise against” Young Kim in California, and why did I never hear about that?
• Who is “Nancy Pelosi’s PROTEGE?”
• Who is this “extreme leftist billionaire” who is “personally targeting” Young Kim?
• Is Young Kim really LAPHONZA’S TOP TARGET???

My favorite part, though, is the word “her” in “My far-left opponent raised 100k on her first day after jumping into my race.” This makes it clear that Young Kim realizes her TRUE opponent is not Joe Kerr, but the worthy and feisty Allyson, who survived a BS culture-war recall (over “CRT”) while Kerr was busy trying unsuccessfully to foist the atrocious Poseidon boondoggle on this county.

Speaking of Coto Placentia Silverado Joe, the fire hero has been going about boasting, as politicians do, of his fundraising prowess, but Joe’s relation to the truth is no better than Young Kim’s – of the $478k he claims to have raised, $400k is A LOAN FROM HIMSELF, no doubt an effortless extraction from his huge firefighter pension, but NOT fundraising!
