The Democratic Clubs of Orange County Showcase TTSI’s Zero Emission Truck in 2012 Huntington Beach 4th of July Parade

Huntington Beach, Calif. – On Wednesday, July 4, 2012, the 72nd Assembly Democratic Alliance (72nd ADA), representing the Democratic Clubs of Orange County, will team with Total Transportation Services, Incorporated (TTSI) to showcase a first-of-its-kind Hydrogen Fuel Cell Class 8 Truck, which will pull their float entry in the 2012 Huntington Beach 4th of July Parade.

The Democrats are proud to have their float pulled by a zero emission hydrogen fuel cell truck provided by Total Transportation Services, Incorporated, (TTS-I) of Rancho Dominquez, California, whose co-founder, CEO & President, Victor La Rosa, is a Huntington Beach resident. TTS-I has recently announced plans to deploy a fleet of these100 non-polluting trucks, all built locally with primary manufacturing in Long Beach. These revolutionary trucks embody TTS-I’s motto: “Staying a Step Ahead and a Leaving Small Footprint.”

The float, themed “Huntington Beach at the Crossroads,” is the 30th year entry representing the Democratic Clubs of Orange County with a current voter registration of over 518,000 Democrats. This float is decorated with beach cruisers, surfers and skateboarders found along Pacific Coast Highway and highlights the streets intersecting Pacific Coast Highway: Brookhurst, Beach Boulevard, Main Street and Warner Avenue. The band on board, “Danny and the Homewreckers,” is making their 13th parade appearance.

As the innovative TTS-I truck carrying this entry shows, Huntington Beach is not only at the crossroads of our beach communities, but also at the crossroads of a forward-thinking economy and a “green” sustainable future.

We got Second Place!

(Don’t know who got first, but it was NOT the Republicans.)
