Lawn Bowling…anyone?

First off, we detest Chip Kelly, Mike Bilotti, and the entire evil Oregon Ducks football team.  These folks are anything but nice.  Watching Stanford lose to Oklahoma State and their Retirement Age Super Quarterback……was sick.  You would think they could find anyone on the bench that could kick an extra point, including any 400 lb. lineman.  We did like Michigan State winning their game….but we don’t know why.  All in all, the whole bowl season has been a giant diappointment.  What? Tonight we have to watch Big Blue Michigan play the Hokies of Virginia Tech.  Please, we can’t look….this is going to be all boring and when the big moment comes for LSU to play Alabama next week……we could care less.

How about the Steelers having to play Tebow ball at Mile High?  Another ugly game on the horizon… to be sure.  Tonight is the Iowa Caucus…..dull, boring and without a doubt…….another reason to go rent a movie tonight….maybe one as bad as “Bridemaids”…..OK, how about “Help”?   You know what?  We miss watching the Girls Curling Championships during the Olympics!  What two years to go?  Bah, Humbug!  Boring…folks…boring!

Luckily for us, right here in Newport Beach we have a wonderful set of outside Lawn Bowling courts….right up by Roger’s Garden and Gelson’s Market.  The thought of fighting the existing membership to qualify to play, buy the all white outfits and keep score with a sharp pencil are exhilerating to be sure!  Chip Kelly….go climb a rope!  Stanford…..get a kicker…huh?  Alabama…..Roll Tide!
