Immigration Protests Set to Hit All-Star Game in Anaheim

Memories of the interleague whuppin’ the Angels have been putting on los Doyers will fade when the All-Star Game comes to Anaheim next month and brings protests from LA and OC pro-immigrant advocates alike with it.

Demonstrators calling on Major League Baseball Commissioner Bud Selig to move the 2011 All-Star Game out of Arizona for its recent unconstitutional sins are already organizing actions in response to his continued indifference to their cause.

Details and logistics of what is to go down has yet to be set, but activists opposed to SB 1070 and other legislative madness coming out of the Grand Canyon state plan to descend upon Angel Stadium  from 3-6 p.m. on July 13th.  It will be a fresh addition to the weekend’s festivities and probably more fun than the often boring home run derby!

In the meantime, for the Facebook savvy, sign the following petition or go to movethegame.org to let Selig know that, in 2011, Arizona should be tossed out of the game !
