Are you unhappy about how Santa Ana Mayor Miguel Pulido handed almost $5 million dollars to the lowest ranked bidder, regarding his light rail to nowhere? Well, tomorrow you will be able to complain about it at a special Santa Ana City Council meeting, which will be held at 12 p.m. in order to prevent most working folks from being able to attend.
Click here to read the agenda, which states that this meeting is a work study session regarding the City’s transit plan, transit oriented development opportunities, and matters related to the City’s role in regional transportation, and other development opportunities.
Good Lord! Don’t these people have any shame?
FBI, FBI, FBI
If it’s a “special” meeting you can count on a vote that they want hidden.
I checked out the Cordoba(SP) website and to me an amatuer it looks so shady.
This is equivilent to a GW/Cheney Blackwater F-JOB.
There is nothing wrong with Santa Ana citizens asking why this bid went to the LOWEST RANKED COMPANY.
I get the impression that a MAJOR HOSE JOB is happening and the funny taste in the taxpayer’s mouth is a combo of Pulido and Pla’s spunk.
You think the “highest ranked” crook should have gotten the contract to study how to whisk commuters to their office at OBP’s 30 story tower?
I haven’t felt this violated since a dropped the soap during post P.E. showers in Junior High! Why won’t the L.A. Times do a REAL investigative article on this? Could it be because this is a Brown on Brown crime and doesn’t have a tasty racial angle?
#6,
I think the problem at the Times is that they have fired just about everyone that covered Orange County.
Doug Irving, at the Register, is doing a fine job covering this story. But today’s meeting did not make it into today’s paper. That was the plan at City Hall I would imagine.
