SHOCKING! Democrats accused of “God Awful” racism!

Well, they’ve been playing the Hispanic card to trump objectivity and adequate jurisprudence. Now Dems and Lefties are using the Black card to trump rampant taxation, government control and trade sanctions that will lead to economic disaster. Seems the less than illustrious Senator “don’t call me ma’am” Boxer was speaking with the head of the Black Chamber of Commerce, who was before the Senators committee on the cap and trade issue.

As I wrote about when the Black Chamber of Commerce spoke out against this dangerous bill, it will:

–  reduce national GDP roughly $350 billion below the baseline level;
–  cut net employment by 2.5 million jobs (even after accounting for new “green” jobs); and
–  reduce earnings for the average U.S. worker by $390 per year.

But what does Senator “don’t call me ma’am” Boxer have to say in response?

“The NAACP and “The Hundred Black men of Atlanta” quote: Clean Energy is the key that will unlock millions of jobs and the NAACP support is vital to ensuring those jobs will revitalize urban areas.”

Get that? The head of the Black Chamber of Commerce gets in front of her committee and Senator Shame says, “Well, this is what other black people are saying, so clearly there’s some disagreement here!”

And as the head of Black Chamber points out, “Why not quote a white guy, or an asian? What makes what another black man has to say worth ANYTHING to my point?” And then he goes on to say that “our organization has looked at energy costs since 1996, and we are relying on experts, regardless of color!”

Ouch! Seems like the party that keeps on kickin the black man just can’t quit finding ways to sound like massa! And if you listen to the whole piece, you can hear the Senator talking in the background as this man answers questions of the panel. No respect. Just a complete whitewash. Throw up a few racial straw men and we can call it a day!

Imagine if the Republicans had marched a few Latinos into the Supreme Court Hearings to discuss how they disagreed with Sotomayor and how there seems to be some disagreement amongst your type!
