Mexican drug cartel sets up shop all over the U.S., including Irvine!

You may have heard that the DEA arrested 755 people this week with “suspected ties to Mexican cartels, especially one out of the state of Sinaloa,” according to the O.C. Register.

“To date, Operation Xcellerator has led to the arrest of 755 individuals and the seizure of approximately $59.1 million in U.S. currency, more than 12,000 kilograms of cocaine, more than 16,000 pounds of marijuana, more than 1,200 pounds of methamphetamine, more than 8 kilograms of heroin, approximately 1.3 million pills of Ecstasy, more than $6.5 million in other assets, 149 vehicles, 3 aircraft, 3 maritime vessels and 169 weapons,” according to the DEA.

Here’s the rub, “the agency arrested 13 people with ties to the cartel in Orange County.  Arrests were made in Irvine, Garden Grove, Fullerton and Santa Ana.”

Irvine?  Orange County’s safest city? Looks like they have a drug problem too.

Imagine how much narcotics remain in our country?  This surely is just the tip of the iceberg.  And speaking of ice, it is very chilling to know that Mexican drug cartels have totally infiltrated our country.

When will President Obama revisit our national drug policy?  It clearly is not working and now we are in big trouble.

I wonder how many gang bangers in Santa Ana are already working for various Mexican drug cartels?
