Valerie Amezcua hanging on to SAUSD School Board seat by 24 votes

Valerie Amezcua is hanging on to the last of three open seats on the SAUSD School Board by only 24 votes, as her closest challenger, Roman Reyna, continues to surge as the last paper ballots are counted.  This has become the biggest cliffhanger left stemming from the Nov. 4 election.

Over in Westminster, the good news is that Van Tran’s ally, Truoung Diep, is still losing to Peggy Loomer in the latest results posted by the O.C. Voter Registrar.

And the bad news in Garden Grove is that Janet Nguyen’s Chief of Staff, Andrew Do, is still ahead of Robin Marcario by 1,000 votes.
