The World Net Daily’s Chelsea Schilling is speculating that Joe Biden is going to be dumped from the Democratic ticket soon – here are a few excerpts from her recent article:
Will Sen. Joe Biden be dropped from the Democratic Party ticket before Election Day?
Television pundits, talk radio personalities and blogs have been buzzing with speculation about a last-minute VP switch for the party.
On Fox’s “Hannity & Colmes” last night, Sean Hannity asked Gov. Ed Rendell, D-Pa., “Will they replace Biden with Hillary?”
Rendell replied, “No, absolutely not. Joe Biden is here to stay. Next vice president of the United States.”
However, according to recent polls, Biden’s popularity is not as high as Republican vice presidential nominee Sarah Palin. Results from a CNN/Opinion Research Corp. national survey released yesterday have Obama and McCain virtually tied – Obama has 49 percent while McCain has 48 percent. But Sarah Palin has surged ahead of Biden on popularity with 55 percent to his 44 percent. Her favorability rating is also 6 percent higher.
Makes sense to me! Biden was an awful pick – and he isn’t helping Obama one bit. The sooner he gets shown the door the better, or Obama is going to lose to John McCain. Mark my words…
One has to wonder, just how DUMB can Americans be? This isn’t a game or a T.V. show, this IS about running the country. Gosh, why would we want someone who is COMPETENT AND QUALIFIED when we can have “excitement”? Bidens’ foreign affairs expertise makes him an excellent addition to the Democratic ticket, unlike Palin, who brings what exactly? Oh, yeah her “white trash” family values and small time demagoguery.
Some candidates use “change” to promote their careers.
Other candidates use their careers to promote change.
And others use the same comparison about careers and change to promote theirs.
Seriously! how many times is Peggy Hill gonna use that line? Why is she so popular?
Although I’m still trying to figure out what Ivy League educated Michelle Obama meant when she said that she was proud of her country because “hope was finally making a comeback.”
Vern can you shed some light on what she meant by “hope finally making a comeback?”
Terry, can you shed light on when Sarah Palin is going to have someone write her a new speech? Because this is getting worse than the Recall Election we had here in California in 2003.
I got sick of Arnold referring to Gray Davis and Cruz Bustamante as “the twin terminators of Sacramento,” but this is probably already worse.
What the Democrats should do is pack people in to her speeches and recite the speech along with her, kind of like how people used to do with The Rock whenever he would go into his “Do you smell what the Rock is cooking” thing.
Or maybe that’s the next phase in the Republican plan: “Sing along with Sarah Palin”
Maybe Obama should switch his VP pick to The Rock. That would be awesome! There’s no way The Rock would lose a popularity contest to Sarah Palin. The Rock loses to nobody. DO YOU SMEEELLLLLLLLL WHAT THE VICE PRESIDENT IS COOKING!!??
Vern can you shed some light on what she meant by “hope finally making a comeback?”
Luchador, I think I can help with that, it makes perfect sense to me and doesn’t need any translation or context. I know you’re just barely twenty-something, so apparently you don’t experience the despair that those of us who coasted complacently through the peace and prosperity of the Clinton years feel every day under the current regime. Every single day that we’ve got up these last 7-1/2 years, the Bush gang has managed somehow to make this world a more dangerous and unjust place, to make the rich a little richer, the poor a little poorer, the globe a little dirtier, and the entire discourse a lot STOOPIDER. The idea that this could all begin to be reversed in a few months makes all of our hearts skip a beat. Got that?
I know, I know…
Hope what happens when it looks like you might win.
lol!
Art, this isnt some version of “Survivor” where they vote people off the island.
Obama made his choice. He’s had a suprising number of people who have NOT quit his campaign. The lowest percentage of the bunch, as I recall.
Biden’s safe as the VP candidate for the dems in 2008.
Biden is a perfect politician – experienced, intelligent, wise. But that’s it. When Palin came to stage, and “PalinMania” started, Biden became invisible. So rumors claim, that Biden will officially “resign because of health problems”, and Obama will invite Hillary to join his fight against Palin. Because she, and no longer McCain, is Obama’s biggest problem now. http://www.votetheday.com/polls/obama-is-dumping-biden-269
I think I babbled well earlier today when I said something like “the Palin-binge which has turned into a queasy nauseous hangover.”
It was a little like that a couple months ago when we had all just had TOO MUCH OBAMA. Even those of us who want him to win.
NEWS TIP
…………..from excellent cources within the DNC
On or about Oct. 5th, Biden will excuse himself from the ticket, citing health problems; he will be replaced by Hillary. This is timed to occur after the VP debate on Oct. 2.
WOW! Gotta be true, “Barbara” even heard it somewhere! (Same place as Larry of course)
