Bill Richardson speaking at the DPOC’s Truman Dinner

New Mexico Governor Bill Richardson (pictured on right above with Mexican President Felipe Calderon Hinojosa) is going to be the keynote speaker at the Democratic Party of Orange County’s Truman Dinner, according to a DPOC pajarito.  That’s awesome!  Richardson is a fantastic speaker and he is a Governor the Democrats can be proud of.

Richardson has actually cut taxes in New Mexico – and he is working with a state budget surplus.  The Democrats here in our state legislature ought to get with Richardson and figure out how to put together a balanced state budget!

I believe that Richardson will be part of Barack Obama’s cabinet as well.  This really is a big deal for the DPOC.  I may have to go to this year’s Truman dinner, which is usually held in September or October.
