The O.C. Human Relations Commission has selected their 2008 Awardees, which include “outstanding people for their exemplary contributions to human relations in our schools, community and police departments.” The 37th Annual Awards Dinner will take place on Thursday, May 1st, at The Grove of Anaheim, located at 2200 E. Katella Avenue. The reception starts at 6p.m., and the Dinner and Awards Program runs from 6:45 to 9 p.m.
The attire will be “Business,” and there will be Complementary Self Parking. To RSVP, contact Barbara Hunt at 714.834.7181 by April 24.

What a bunch of fluff. This annual HRC affair has become a snipe hunt for someone or some organization to be fit into categories and be “honored” in order to put on the show. The HRC needs to go away, permanently.
