Claudio put up a post earlier tonight regarding the recent OC CRA endorsement convention. That post was just the tip of the iceberg. The video he put up came from YouTube, where an anon poster whom I believe to be Truong Diep put up video footage from the CRA convention. While the videos depicting Supervisor Janet Nguyen will get a lot of viewings, the lamest speech at the convention was by Santa Ana’s own Rosie Avila.
In the video, which you can click on below, Avila appears to be under the influence of drugs. She is incoherent and just plain nuts. It is a must see! Is this really the best the OC GOP could come up with against the popular Congresswoman Loretta Sanchez? Good grief – what a joke!
Art you were just as madly in love with Rosie as a candidate not long ago as you are now with Janet. Message to Janet….some day soon…when you cross Arturo or fail to give him what he wants you too will be trashed like Rosie. I sure would hate to be married to Art.
Unless Loretta Sanchez is caught in a scandal, she will retain her seat in November.

Are you kidding? She is running for CONGRESS. She spent the first few minutes prattling on about her clothing! Then she closed her comments by holding up props, including her silly campaign shirts. Please Cook, you cannot possibly believe that she handled herself well. Her entire demeanor and comments were a complete and utter joke.
Art, you know her well, I know her little.
I think for most common voters who would see that clip would think she handled it well.
Maybe someone else can chip in based only on the clip and not personal knowlage of Avila.
