Democratic Presidential candidate Bill Richardson, who is the Governor of New Mexico, has ended his presidential bid, in a move that really did not surprise anyone. Richardson had come in fourth in both the Iowa Caucus and the New Hampshire primary.
“Richardson had one of the most wide-ranging resumes of any candidate ever to run for the presidency, bringing experience from his time in Congress, President Clinton’s Cabinet, in the New Mexico Statehouse as well as his unique role as a freelance diplomat. As a Hispanic, he added to the unprecedented diversity in the Democratic field that also included a black man and a woman,” according to the Sacramento Bee.
I had planned to vote for Richardson in the February 5 primary, here in California. As a Decline to State voter, I cannot vote for any of the GOP candidates, therefore I am now endorsing Senator Barack Obama for President.
And, as luck would have it, the Obama campaign is having its Orange County Headquarters Grand Opening this Sunday!
Time: Sunday, January 13, at 1:00 PM – 3 hours
Location: Orange County Obama HQ
210 North Broadway Street
Santa Ana, CA 92701
I will try to stop by there in between walking precincts on behalf of the No on Measure D campaign. Go Obama!
Art changed his candidate choice quicker than he replaced his shirt. So much for loyalty, watch out Queen Michele Martinez and Empress Janet Nguyen.
Poster 1,
What do you want me to do? Light a candle for Richardson? He is out. Now we must stop Hillary. It is that simple.
Art –
Obama?
Tell me it ain’t so.
