Volunteers needed at Orange County citizenship fairs

I received this information from SAUSD Trustee John Palacio today:

A free Citizenship Workshop for Permanent Residents is scheduled Saturday, July 21 at Santa Ana College. A great number of Trained Volunteers are needed in order to serve the maximum number of applicants in the most efficient manner. YOU CAN MAKE A DIFFERENCE! We can help many submit applications before July 30 and help avoid the fee increase, from $400 to $675. Please join us….training will be provided. To volunteer: Contact Diane Hurtado: 714-878-0588. Over 20 Community organizations are participating!

Also, please help us spread the word to those who need assistance with their paperwork- See attachment 2.

Citizenship fairs

Santa Ana College will hold a citizenship fair under the ” Ya Es Hora” campaign Saturday; Hispano America Immigration, a coalition of lawyers and volunteers, will hold a fair Sunday.
