Marin to speak at Nixon Library

I received the following campaign release from the Rosario Marin for U.S. Senate campaign recently and though it was worth sharing with my readers. Marin is apparently going to comment on relations between the U.S. and Mexico. She might be walking into a hornet’s nest. At least two of her Republican primary opponents are opposed to the Bush immigrant worker plan. It will be interesting to find out what Marin has to say about it, as she is herself a Mexican immigrant. Here is the release:

Rosario Marin, the 41st Treasurer of the United States and candidate

for U.S. Senate, will be making a major foreign policy address regarding

U.S.-Mexico relations at the Nixon Library on Thursday.

WHEN: Thursday, February 5, 2004

11:00 a.m. PST

WHERE: Richard Nixon Library

18001 Yorba Linda Boulevard
