Lou Correa talks Impeachment, 5pm at Varsity!

If you’re free in Anaheim tomorrow (Friday Oct 11) you should swing by one of these two really cool popular places – Ted’s Burgers in the morning from 8 to 8:45, or Varsity Burgers from 5 to 5:45  to hear our moderate Democrat Congressman Lou Correa talk about why he now supports an Impeachment Inquiry into President Trump.  We’ve been trying to get him on board for a couple years now, but we’re glad he’s with us now… and maybe he was right to wait for incontrovertible impeachable shit like this past month’s cluster… or for public opinion to catch up with impeachment.

One thing he should really stop doing though is act like he HAS to be a moderate, conservative, cautious Democrat because he’s from Orange County – Lou’s district is DEEP BLUE.  But anyway let’s go see him and cheer him for doing the right thing!  Here’s his statement from a couple years ago.

Congressman Correa Announces Formal Support For Impeachment Inquiry

Washington DC – Congressman Lou Correa released the following statement on Speaker Nancy Pelosi’s announcement of a formal impeachment inquiry of President Trump:

“No one is above the law. For the past nine months, I have joined my colleagues on the House Judiciary Committee in investigating the many abuses of power levied against this President. We have addressed many issues, but the President’s effort to request assistance from the Ukrainian government for his political gain is something entirely different.

“Today, I stand shoulder to shoulder with Speaker Pelosi and formally announce my support for an impeachment inquiry of the President of the United States. Congress must act quickly and judiciously to ascertain all the facts about this egregious abuse of power by a sitting President. No one is above the law.”
