Here’s some free advice for the guys in the John Lewis/Daly for Supervisor Shop. Next time you dredge up a goon to do your dirty work you might want to make sure he has no embarrassing body doubles with the same name wandering around Orange County.
Yesterday we reported how the Mauve County blog raked up some slob from Santa Ana named Thomas Anthony Gordon, who, out of the blue, attacked Fullerton’s Shawn Nelson for being a defense attorney, therefore “soft on crime,” and hence unfit to be a County Supervisor.
As we pointed out, this was a theme Daly’s campaign manager has been pushing on blogs using an alias.
But back to Gordon.

Tommy Boy thinks Shawn Nelson is soft on crime because as Shawn’s law partner Greg Rizio pointed out the law that Shawn’s website was referring to was one in which non-violent offenders such as those folks convicted of crimes such as “driving without a license, (VC 12500)” “driving on a suspended license, (VC 14601 et seq)” “Reckless driving (VC 23103),”.
If defending folks convicted of crimes such as these means that Shawn should not be elected to public office, shouldn’t folks arrested for these crimes be eliminated as well?
If nothing else this should make for some interesting mail come November. I hope more than ever that Tommy Boy is Sal’s opponent in the Ward 6 council race.
I thought Tommy Gordon was a Republican but now I see he helps Democrats get elected! I don’t know why I believed a word he said! He lives on a street in my hood. I may be an 87 year old woman but I know a wolf in sheep’s clothing when I see one! Has anyone checked to see if he has changed his political party?
P.S. What is the Aryan Brotherhood? I saw a promo for a show on them a few months ago on History Channel and some of those scary fellows look liked Tommy! I wish Tommy’s mommy would spank that boy!
