If you thought Santa Ana’s Measure D was full of lies, wait till you get a look at Measure G! Take a look at the mailer above. They are trying to claim that the money for Measure G is going to magically home from somewhere else. They are right however when they say “It’s Your Money,” because while state matching funds will likely never materialize (how can they when California is $14 billion in debt?), it is a certainty that OUR taxes WILL be going up if this bogus measure passes.
The Santa Ana Unified School District is already planning yet ANOTHER bond for the November ballot, irrespective of whether Measure G passes or not. Consider that in Los Angeles no less than five school bonds have passed, in addition to a slew of other bonds.
If this keeps up in Santa Ana, people are going to start losing their homes when they cannot pay their property taxes. And even renters will be alarmed as their rents start to go higher and higher.
Don’t be fooled! Vote No on Measure G!
I officially endorse voting No on ‘Measure Greed.’

If the council thinks the taxpayers can pay more why don’t they increase the sales tax like L.A. is going to do? I guess it’s tougher to face down Don Crevier of Crevier BMW than the dumb residents of Santa Ana.
Why does this mailer have Al Amezcua’s law office address?
Time for a fancy Card telling the du*b a%S voters in this City what to do. I already know how this going to come out.
