Supporters of Independent Congressional candidate Cecilia Iglesias are up in arms over the decision by KOCE to exclude her from next week’s debate with Van Tran and Loretta Sanchez.
They are asking their supporters to start protesting immediately at KOCE. Here are the details:

Wasn’t this country founded on equality? It appears that KOCE has forgeten that meaning! It is a slap to the 11,000 citizens who gave their signatures to have a 3rd candidate. KOCE who claims to broadcast educational programs and real Orange current event, should be ashamed of what they are doing!

Sorry but I have no problem limiting the free air time to candidates that will get votes from others than their immediate family.
I am not blood related to Cecilia Iglesias, but as an American Citizens and a patriot hold the same values and ethics. I stand for needing change in our district. Loretta has not done anything in the past 14 years. What makes anyone believe that if re-elected she will bring change now. Her words are nothing but promises.
Van Tran is yet to be heard; but from his record, he is nothing but a career politician and is seeking to benefit himself.
Win or Loose, Cecilia needs to address all the constinuents in this district. We are people who reside in this district and therefore DEMAND IT!

This insanity I believe the people have a right to hear a third canidate, we the American people gave Obama a chance. Ceci is the real deal she lives in the 47th and identifys with the people, she drives through the streets of Santa Ana, she’s aware that people from Irvine or Villapark reference our city as the armpit of OC or cespool of illegals, I believe ceci can change that image of the 47th

When I learned that only two candidates will be allowed in the debate, it caused a lot of anger and disbelief that this was actually happening by our local news! Local news are to support the viewers and what they want!
