Gerrie Schipske, who was recently hired as the Executive Director of the Democratic Party of Orange County, will be our guest speaker at the 68th Democratic Assembly District PAC Meeting.
The 68th Democratic AD PAC will meet at 7pm on Monday June 21st 16151 Brookhurst St in Fountain Valley. The location is in the Albertson’s shopping center on the corner of Edinger and Brookhurst , 16151 Brookhurst is in the Southwest corner next door to the Saigon Performing Arts center.
If you want to eat before the meeting there is a small Vietnamese cafe next door, they have great food, there is also a Denny’s and a Burger King in the shopping center.
Gerrie Schipske was born in Long Beach. Raised in Buena Park and moved back to Long Beach in 1977, after working 6 years in Washington, D.C. for the CIA and the U.S. Congress. She worked in the City Manager’s office as the City’s first Public information officer. Later she moved into managing the gas, water and refuse services billing, meter reading and customer service activities. After that she switched careers and became a registered nurse practitioner and then an attorney.
Gerrie Schipske was first Elected to Long Beach City College Board of Trustees in 1992. She has run serious campaigns for both the State Assembly and for the United States Congress. Gerrie first won election to Long Beach City Council in 2006. Currently, she represents the 5th District, which is the largest district in the city of Long Beach — 11.5 square miles.
