Hey, I called it. (Probably others did too but I didn’t hear em.) Called it way back in 2023. In my story about Santa Ana’s debate over a Gaza ceasefire. In the section right before “Remember Alex Odeh!”, the section called “Shock Doctrine.”
I frequently refer to Naomi Klein’s book “Shock Doctrine” every time we see leaders respond to great crises by doing shitty things they’d already wanted to do for a long time, as though the crisis was a convenient excuse. Like Sept. 11. So convenient in fact that a lot of people start to suspect these leaders secretly caused that crisis, or at least passively let it happen when it could have been expected and prevented. Like Sept. 11.
Now Haaretz reports, shockingly but not surprisingly, that Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu was warned about the Oct. 7, 2023 Hamas attacks beforehand – the attacks he’s been using as an excuse for slaughtering and displacing Palestinians ever since – and didn’t even bother mentioning it to his security chief or anyone else.
So add the 1200 victims of Oct. 7 to Bibi’s Hell tab, along with 74,000 dead Palestinians, 175,000 wounded Palestinians, and thousands still missing.
The good news is he is up for re-election and Israelis hate him, and when he loses he’ll be in all kinds of legal trouble that he’s been putting off by killing everybody. The bad news is Israelis don’t hate him for the same reasons everyone else does, and whoever takes his place will probably be just as bloodthirsty.
The best thing America can do is cut off all funding to the rogue state of Israel. Here’s Jonathan Larsen of “The Fucking News”
Netanyahu Totally Ripped Off 9/11
Less than two weeks after the horrific Oct. 7, 2023, Hamas attack on Israel, Pres. Joe Biden counseled Israel:
“[W]hile you feel that rage, don’t be consumed by it. After 9/11, we were enraged in the United States. While we sought justice and got justice, we also made mistakes.”
As we know too well, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu crafted a response strategy apparently designed to include every single 9/11 mistake the U.S. made. And now, thanks to Haaretz, we know that Netanyahu even made the first 9/11 mistake: Ignoring warnings.
Haaretz reports that in September 2023, United Arab Emirates President Mohamed bin Zayed warned Netanyahu that Hamas’ leader in Gaza, Yahya Sinwar, was planning an attack big enough to upend relations between the region’s nations, who usually get along so well.
An advisor to bin Zayed who was on the call told Haaretz, “He told Netanyahu that Israel should be ready” and “he recommended trying to find an economic solution for the [Gaza] Strip and calming the West Bank to prevent escalation.”
Netanyahu dismissed the Gaza threat and said Hamas was focused on the West Bank. And, besides, Israel could handle whatever. How bad could it be?!?
Netanyahu was so cocky — like, Pres.-George-W.-Bush-in-August-2001 cocky — that he didn’t even tell his own security chiefs about the warning.
So, after ignoring el Sayed’s warning, Israel was attacked less than two weeks later, losing 1,200 people killed by Hamas and hundreds of hostages, some of whom died in captivity.
Netanyahu then ignored Biden’s warning and did just what Hamas wanted just like the U.S. did just what al Qaeda wanted.
On Tuesday, Israeli opposition leaders demanded a commission to investigate, ignoring the U.S. failure of doing a 9/11 Commission instead of jailing the motherfuckers who twisted their 9/11 failure into the existential failure of the Global War on Terror and Also on Us.

We had a great Anaheim Democrats Club meeting on the 3rd, and here’s the first of our three speakers, the fearless tireless immigration attorney Lisa Ramirez (who recently ran for Congress in the red CA-40.)
She mostly spoke about the recent horrors of Trump’s immigration crackdowns, but at some point someone mentioned her running for Supervisor when Don Wagner’s termed out in ’28. She sounded open to the idea, like she’d even been considering it. Lisa over Don would be quite an improvement!
Contemporaneously, Israel and Turkey and enlisted jihadists were aiding Azerbaijan cleanse ethnic Armenians from their ancestral homelands in Artsakh.
