This is a case of jazzy justice. The judge improvised the rule of law as he went along.
The woman’s voice sounds familiar. Is she the same one that told us the 2020-22 elections were secure, and the Kool Aid shots are safe and effective?
Trump had his chance to proclaim his innocence, and he told us that he would. Just another lie.
Maybe he slept through that part.
I don’t criticize defendants for not taking the stand and facing an onslaught of character evidence to test their credibility. It’s their right and I respect it. Trump making a lying promise is not exactly news, though.
In this case, it was the right call. The defense would have to stipulate that he might be lying about everything and might not know whether he was lying at any given moment.

He did not “improvise the law,” but the appeals court saying so will not convince you, because you believe what you want to believe. It’s sad, really.
Kool-Aid shots are reasonably safe and effective at getting you drunk, but maybe you’re thinking of Jello-shots, which are more safe and effective.
Are you arguing that the bad effects of the vaccines exceeded the good ones, or that there were no good effects — or do you even know?
By the way, my move down the foothills a ways has been mostly completed. I have many wonderful books in storage that I will try to get loving and literate owners to buy or at least take off my hands. The highlight of the move has been finally whacking the hell out of the used and semi-broken Hammond that organ we got from someone else who was moving. I will post a photo of its somewhat remarkable innards if no one has already scavenged them for the metal. More on this in due time!
