About Greg Diamond
Somewhat verbose attorney, semi-disabled and semi-retired, residing in northwest Brea. Occasionally ran for office against jerks who otherwise would have gonr unopposed. Got 45% of the vote against Bob Huff for State Senate in 2012; Josh Newman then won the seat in 2016. In 2014 became the first attorney to challenge OCDA Tony Rackauckas since 2002; Todd Spitzer then won that seat in 2018. Every time he's run against some rotten incumbent, the *next* person to challenge them wins! He's OK with that.
Corrupt party hacks hate him. He's OK with that too.
He does advise some local campaigns informally and (so far) without compensation. (If that last bit changes, he will declare the interest.)
His daughter is a professional campaign treasurer. He doesn't usually know whom she and her firm represent. Whether they do so never influences his endorsements or coverage. (He does have his own strong opinions.) But when he does check campaign finance forms, he is often happily surprised to learn that good candidates he respects often DO hire her firm. (Maybe bad ones are scared off by his relationship with her, but they needn't be.)
He is certainly a regal presence, no doubt he inspires confidence. A born leader.
You’re right, Urizen. That “Killary” displayed all the arrogance of a person who knows stuff. I felt very unworthy and unmanned. Idiocrisy!
*You take one part “know it all”, add frequent sadistic tendencies, filter with an assortment of outlandish lies and misrepresentations, mix slowly with a personal ugliness and a constant offensive self-flaggulation – simmer at very high temperature
in a bonfire of the vanities, twist every word to make sure that it means “good or bad” depending on when you need to interpret it – interrupt constantly, never letting anyone
finish their thought without challenging them, demand special treatment because you consider yourself to be “a chosen one”, lash out at anyone in your eye line, take a variety of mood enhancing drugs and prescription medicines……and wow, the next thing you know: You get to be President of the United States! You then change the name of the White House to of course: The Trump House! America! Maybe not that either…..Maybe Trumpica!
Diamond, That bitch got rolled by Trump and its only going to worse next time. Viva Trump 2016!
Vox Prickuli is heard!
*HIASGWST – Your momma is his momma! You probably use the same hair color and plug doctor.
I love it when dogs roll over to have their tummies scratched. What does this have to with Donald getting wolloped, again?

I was hoping they might morph into werewolves.
So Hillary was, I don’t know, comically hamming it up for the camera? (Seriously, what’s that from? And Trump was making fun of a disabled reporter.
I think that you’re familiar with the phrase “false equivalence,” right?
(Yes, I know that “it’s a joke.” But it’s not supposed to be funny. This equates vicious with silly as “disqualifying.”)
And ironically this “comic hamming it up” of Clinton has been used over and over now on the far right (Trump, Hannity, and further) to show that she has Parkinson’s.
So one side mocks the disabled, while … also mocking the other side as possibly disabled.
Well, I could have made a new one with simply a formal portrait of each of them (We have the technology.) and the point would have got across just same, but this one was already in circulation.
Would it have been worth a few minutes of graphics work to make a new version of an established meme?
It’s the greatest reality TV show of all time. A big train-crash I can’t pull my eyes off of.
The polls are showing some motion…
*Yeah….put your hand back in your pocket….
A sobering thought; if you look at their conduct over time – Hillary from the Nixon/Watergate investigation through today and Trump’s famous reputation for stiffing vendors because he “blessed them with his business and now because they worked with him, they are going to get more business then they can handle” – they are both classic sociopaths.
If you look up the definition on Psychology Today – the both fit to a “T”.
These two are the best we could do? This is what the majority in each party wanted?
Very concerned on what is going to happen once one of them are elected…
Psychology Today? Deep stuff, Doctor Faust, deep stuff.
Watched the Veep debate…
Liar, liar, Pence on fire !
“This is not the Trump you’re looking for.”
He represented the Pence 2020 campaign. Nothing to do with Trump.
*After half watching the Vice Debate last night….all we can say is: Frank Luntz needs to get kicked in the N – u – t -z…..over and over again! Why in the world CBS employs this
poor excuse for a pollster is beyond us. We would rather watch him pole dancing for Sarah Palin. “How many people thought they would vote for Donald Trump BEFORE the Vice Presidential Debates?” One person raises their hand. “OK, after the In-Kaine vs. No Pence Debate……how many will vote for Trump Now……oh 10 of 18…….wow!” Give us a break………this boy is as dirty as a sewer line behind a beer bar at midnight.
*Not meaning to pile on here, however now that the Trumpster is being categorized as the Republican “Typhoid Mary of 2016″….and the biggest “Bull in the Republican China Shop”……we can only say….”we told you so!”
I sure hope he is. I take nothing for granted about the voting public’s reaction.
I hope he realizes that it’s probable that many Republicans are rooting for him to die before Election Day so that they can run Pence. I don’t wish that calamity upon him, but I do wish that degree of self-awareness upon him. It might sober him up in a very beneficial way.
“I do wish that degree of self-awareness upon him. It might sober him up in a very beneficial way.”
You want him to rehabilitate himself, and fool people into thinking that he’s Presidential ?
I don’t ! I hope he crashes and burns, and gets no where near the White House. That’s what his NASCAR fans deserve.
I don’t think that rehab is in the cards for him, nor is getting close to the White House. But I do hope that after the election, he may have a moment of striking clarity about what he’s done and how he needs to undo it as far as he can. Maybe it will have a positive effect on his sons. But I won’t hold my breath.
He needs no self-awareness to continue his show biz career. This was all just a very long commercial for him.
