Thanks for posting this! I hope it gets greater viewing than the meeting got attendance! I thought the questions had too many softballs (has ANYONE ever stood up in a forum and said ” I’m for MORE graffitti, LESS cops, WORSE Schools, and WHO CARES about our kids!”) and surprised that “SOAR” and “TOT” were new to the moderator but hope the future forums will compensate. Two notes: Mr. Chuchua’s comparison of Resort and non-Resort streetscaping (1:24:20)is skewed – All Resort area properties pay an ADDITIONAL Landscape & Lighting DISTRICT Assessment, dedicated for that. FY 2011/12 TOT revenue (unaudited) totaled $90.4 million. All TOT comes into the General Fund, and approximately $47.1 remained after transfers to debt service.
