By Mr. Peabody

Could this be our man?
Over at the Red County blog some dude named Walter Myers has been downplaying the egregious e-mail by Fullerton’s Marilyn Davenport that has made so much news recently. Today he did a post outlining the party’s real problem; and it’s not racism, really, but poor educational outreach to Latinos (he calls them Hispanics) and Asians. Apart from some completely specious demographic reasoning, he indicates that the problem is evinced by the fact that no Latinos or Asians stood up to defend Mrs. Davenport. Huh?!
This guy also has gone out of his way to defend the watermelon patch on the White House lawn e-mail that got Los Alamitos Mayor Dean Grose into so much hot water a couple of years ago. Surprisingly, no Latinos or Asians stood up to defend that cretin.
Well, okay Walter, de gustibus non es disputandem.
Watermelon patch postcard was obvious, the chimps not so much. It might have been sneaky racism but not so obvious.
Did you even read the story Mr. Bushala, or are you just using this as another Republican-bashing opportunity? Education outreach? Where? Mr. Williams has identified what he believes is an area lacking in the Republican party – reaching out to minority leaders in ethnically diverse districts and supporting them in their conservative political aspirations. I wholly support Mr. Williams and it’s sad that you have such hatred for the Republican party that you would take a good idea and turn it into something, well, I don’t even know what since your article is almost indecipherable. So if “there is no disputing about tastes” then why is Mr. Williams’ idea wrong?
First, I didn’t write that post – look at the by-line. Second, the guy’s name is Myers. Third, he may well have recognized an area of GOP deficiency – however that has nothing to do with Marilyn’s e-mail, so there’s no relevancy.
Newbie, “Did you even read the story Mr. Bushala”, obvious YOU didn’t read it, otherwise you would have realized the guy’s NOT Mr. “Williams” and that Bushala didn’t write the story.
Better get Sherman to get you back to school Mr. Peabody. The Douglass in the post is Frederick Douglass not Stephen Douglass. Frederick Douglass was a Republican and much smarter than you
