We are opening our radio show tonight with Anaheim City Council candidate Thomas “Hoagy” Holguin, who is one of the leading candidates for the Anaheim City Council.
During the second hour we will feature the brilliant young insurgent candidate for Capisrano Unified School Board, the independent running against crazed Anna Bryson, SAAM ALIKHANI. We are currently also trying to get an opposition speaker who supports the current board. (Juice brother Larry has church) 🙁
We also expect Anaheim City Council candidates Bill Dalati and John Santoianni to come on the show. Dalati has a calendar conflict and I have not yet heard back from Santoianni.
We have also invited representatives of both the Loretta Sanchez and Van Tran campaigns to call in. We had independent candidate Cecilia Iglesias on last week. All three are vying for the 47th Congressional District and are in a very close race.
If you are running for office and want to be on our second hour, at 8 pm, text me at (714) 606-7622. Or email me at artpedroza@gmail.com.
We may have a surprise guest on that will be huge! More on that later today.
With me tonight will be my co-host Sean Mill, and Francisco Barragan, plus the editor of the Orange Juice blog, the inimitable Vern Nelson!
Don’t miss out on this exclusive Radio Orange Juice experience…
Radio Orange Juice comes to you courtesy of our friends at Santa Ana’s Beat Lounge Entertainment and Beat Lounge Gospel.
I suggest Art, that in the spirit of your SAUSD race, you open with the following Pink Floid classic tonight.
Mr Pedroza,
Please ask candidate Holguin the following question. We need an answer.
In light of the constituents hard feelings over Measure Z, please ask Mr. Holguin how he will run the city differently than he ran the AUHSD school board. There was just too much financial loss and he was on the board the entire time that Measure Z was failing. The city budget isn’t doing well either.
I want to support conservative republican ticket, but this is a hard one for me.
Jane, no ONE person runs a School Board or a City, a majority vote passes items agendized, I guess you need to ask that question to the three none questioning continuing YES voters on the School Board that were on the Board the entire time of Measure Z. These members considered Mr. Holguin the trouble maker for not voting approval for what HE was recognizing as bad managing as well as misleading staff reports. Please check the facts here and that is in the minutes of the Board of Trustee’s 2004 and 2005. Don’t let mistruths form your opinion if it matters to you go get the true facts and better yet call the District Assistant Superintendant Business and Financials.
Thank so much to Mr. Holguin for his answer about Measure Z. I also thank you gentlemen for your fair interviews of your guests! I love you guys.
HOAGY could just be the guy we need!!
Nice Interview.
Two votes from this household for Hoagy!
Go Saam!
Get the truth out so the rest of Capistrano’s constituents can make an informed decision that will rid our district of special interest and return the control of our children’s education to the hands of those who truly care about their future.
Go Saam.
You are experienced enough to handle that job. Dana Hills Cross Country Represent.
Go Saam!!!

Recall, Remove and Recover!
Tom.
After further review you did not pick a single winner in your recommendations.
Don’t be discouraged. There is always 2012.
In regards to Saam… I believe the late, great Guru summed it up beautifully: “I’m so real, to them it’s scary.”
Better late than never holding those accountable who are rapidly destroying the district.
Thanks for highlighting the CUSD candidates who have the leadership potential we desperately need! See three of them here:
There is hope for CUSD. We need change in November.
I gotta say, this was the best Radio Orange Juice we’ve done yet.
Next week’s possibilities:
Bill Dalati, John Santoianni, John Leos?
Loretta Sanchez?
