Sandra Hutchens Misinformation Removed from Ballot Statement

False Claims by Hutchens Stricken from Ballot Statement

(Santa Ana) – Orange County Superior Court Judge Gregory Munoz signed an agreement today requiring removal from acting Sheriff Sandra Hutchens’ ballot statement her inflated claims to have cut management overhead by forty-seven percent.

“Someone needs to tell Sandra Hutchens that her deceptive, Los Angeles styled political tactics don’t work here in Orange County,” said Craig Hunter Spokesman Tim Clark. “For months, Hutchens has been masquerading as a budget-cutter and blatantly misleading voters about her record. Unfortunately for taxpayers, the only substantial cuts Hutchens has made during her tenure have been the words cut today from her ballot statement.”

“Hutchens’ factual oversights also include her claim to have issued conceal carry permits to ninety percent of the applicants,” continued Clark. “Hutchens’ serial abuse of the truth is so bad that it’s starting to make even Nancy Pelosi look like a saint.”

As Anaheim’s Deputy Chief, Craig Hunter oversees all daily police operations of California’s tenth largest city, including the department’s nearly 800 full-time and volunteer members, and a $120 million budget. Chief Hunter has also implemented numerous cost saving procedures that have streamlined spending, eliminated waste, and created more efficient use of taxpayer dollars.

Chief Hunter holds a Master’s Degree in Criminal Justice from Chapman University. He is also a graduate of the FBI National Academy, Command College, POST Leadership Institute, and the Delinquency Control Institute at USC.
