This June, just say no to Janet Nguyen, the new Van Tran
Janet Nguyen, the Chairman of the O.C. Board of Supervisors, qualified as a candidate for the Republican Party of Orange County’s Central Committee, in the 68th Assembly District, along with 12 other candidates, including her Chief of Staff, Andrew Do, who won a seat on the Garden Grove City Council last year as a carpetbagger.
Here is your chance to punk Janet and Do! DO NOT VOTE FOR THEM in the June primary! Let’s make sure they lose. Tell all your friends and family.
The other candidates include:
- Jon Aiken, an accountant who beat Anaheim Councilwoman Lucille Kring when she ran against him for for the OC GOP Central Committee, in the 68th Assembly District, in 2006.
- Lorri Bethel, an accounting assistant.
- Tyler Diep, a Westminster Councilman who is one of Van Tran’s “Trannies”
- Bob Green, a Cost Accountant
- Wendy Leece, a Councilwoman in Costa Mesa
- Kermit Marsh, a former Councilman in Westminster
- Jeff Matthews, a businessman who says he is a City Commissioner
- Mark McCurdy, an incumbent
- Steve Nagel, a Councilman in Fountain Valley
- Dina Nguyen, a Councilwoman in Garden Grove and another “Trannie”
- and Ed Royce, Sr., an incumbent
Vote for any of the above, but don’t vote for Janet Nguyen and Andrew Do! And feel free not to vote for the two “Trannies” either…
Beating Janet and Do will have to suffice until we can take her out altogether in a couple of years.
Do you REALLY think that any Republican with a shred of common sesne is going to pay ANY attention to what YOU have to say? HA!!
anon,
Well, they sure did when we helped recall Lance MacLean in Mission Viejo, and when we took out Linda Ackerman in the 72nd Assembly District.
Oh yes, I think the message is going to spread quickly.
Question – why is the Chairman of the OC Board of Supervisors running for the OC GOP Central Committee when she ought to be trying to solve the County’s massive fiscal problems? Shouldn’t she be paying heed to her job instead of playing partisan politics?
I agree, shouldn’t she be working instead of running for yet ANOTHER office mid-term??? God, she turned out to be a joke!
Support the incumbents in the 68th is fairly safe. Nguyen and Do will be unwelcome.
Masters,
Exactly. This may be yet another gross miscalculation by Team Janet. If the media gets a hold of this story and starts questioning why the Chairman of the Board of Supervisors is distracting herself with partisan politics, this may go very badly for her indeed!
Jesus, what a sad list. The saddest part is that some of those people will necessarily win.
If this Dem has any weight which of course I don’t, let me weigh in against McCurdy the theocrat, Leece the theocrat, Kermit who needs to be guided to a Marshy sunset, and any Trannies which are even worse than Jannies. I guess it’s just a matter of physics that you guys will end up with a fistful of nimrods.
Vern,
You should see the ding dongs running for the OC GOP Central Committee over in the 69th AD! http://newsantaana.com/2010/03/12/only-one-candidate-filed-for-the-democratic-central-committee-in-the-69th-a-d/
And only two Dems running in the 69th. Even in the more active 68th you guys only came up with three candidates.
Time for new leadership at both the DPOC and the OC GOP!
Doesn’t she have better things to do?
Talk about being childish and immature… Dina Nguyen pulls papers (Tran) so Andrew Do pulls papers (Nguyen). Then to “one up” Tran, Nguyen pulls papers on the last day.
The woman barely shows up to one or two Central Committee meetings a year already, does anybody really think she plans on coming if she wins? No! If she wins, she’ll simply resign and put a mole in her place just like she’s trying to do in the 69th with Nam Pham who nobody knows yet he claims he’s a “community activist” on his filing papers.
She needs to be stopped once and for all as her selfish ambition knows no bounds.
soothsayer,
Finally we agree on something! 🙂
Art, how did know that #1 anonymous was anon? And is anon really Tyler AKA tomahawk?
Lam,
I use the word “anon” in lieu of “anonymous.” Less letters. Quicker typing.
I would not be surprised if #1 was Tyler, or Tomahawk, but who knows? Could be a Jannie too.
I wonder whom Dina is going to sleep with when she try to run for this seat?
#13 OUCH!!! Dangggg!!
Lam,
Yeah, that is what I thought too!
The crazy Jannies and Trannies are going to kill each other, over Central Committee seats…
What a joke!
Just wanted to make a quick clarification to my candidacy and title: I’m not “saying” I’m a city commissioner, I am a City Commissioner: City of Costa Mesa, Parks & Rec Commissioner (since appointed in late 2008). My website for the central committee race is: http://www.voteforjeff.net. I don’t think voters should necessarily just vote for all the incumbents (some, but perhaps not all) – we see in some cases (locally, statewide and nationwide) where that isn’t always the best course of action – though I agree it is sometimes the safest. I represent and believe in Constitutional principles, and would like to see the OC Central Committee re-establish itself along traditional Republican values. That’s would I would push to do if elected to this position.
