Last night we received an e-mailed letter from Jones Day, the same lawyers that miraculously worked on convicted criminal ex-Sheriff Mike Carona’s defense for free.
The letter demands that we remove the post we published about KCAL’s Dave Lopez pursuing a story concerning a former Mike Duvall associate at Linda Ackerman’s October 20th fundraiser at the Summit Inn.
Our post was about an event that occurred within Fullerton, our city. It’s on film. Thousands of people have seen it on television. It indisputably happened. It was of particular interest to us since Mr. Lopez also interviewed us at our protest at the site of the fundraiser; this fact was clearly related in the very first sentence of the post.

HaHa, good for Orange Juice, as a writer of a political blog that is, uh, kind of disrespectful to the throbbing weeners and douchebags of Sacramento, if you have time, you may want to see my disclaimer and after you read, think about putting your posting back up.
I would say, go ahead Mr Fucktard attorney, sue me. After I called the media, I’d scream so loud at them, I would be sure to get lots of publicity and make them look bad all at the same time.
Im behind you 100 and 20 percent.
you go Orange Juice, my new hero and a link to your site will promptly go up on my site.
I mailed in my absentee ballot today – clearly marked in Mr. Norby’s box.
I wish that wrinkled, carpetbagging Crypt Keeper would take her old bones south of
22 FWY and say there. We in north Orange County don’t need, want, or require the services of some house wife from Irvine with too much spare time on her hands. Her motives are transparent and smacks of craven political opportunism. I am so sick of politicians who selfishly use the State Legislature to subsidize their lifestyles. It’s a comped life folks! That’s why these local socialites and brownosers run for local office. I hope my neighbors in the 72nd. Assembly District realize the same.
Apparently Jones Day also works with the Fair board members. This is weird because the Attorney General’s office is supposed to represent them. I was doing some unrelated work, and the link below was the second result. No coincidence that the 32nd board is mostly republican party hacks and consultants.
