Had Enough of the Vomit?

Don’t you know when something is in our best interest? Don’t you know the TRUTH when you hear it? Are you not aware that Government, finally, FOR THE FIRST TIME, is actually interested in doing something FOR THE PEOPLE?? So what if small business could have been attracted into going along by omitting surtaxes and payroll taxes? WHO CARES!!!  And as for scaring senior citizens…HOW DARE YOU!!! Only Democrats can warn Senior Citizens that their lives are in danger with Social Security Reform. People are showing at townhall meetings with swastikas. The protesters are nothing but the Brooks Brothers Brigade.

These are the talking points of your TRUTHER NUTTERS.  There isn’t any argument that President Obama and the extremists who run the Democrat Party want to institute Socialized Medicine. Obama has said, if he could start from scratch, he would probably go with a single payer system. People don’t want it. 89% of Americans are happy with Health Care in America. And yet, statists and big government socialists are pushing it down the throats of the American taxpayer, much as they did Social Security. Yes, that’s right. When Social Security was created 95% of Seniors were self supporting. But that didnt stop them, did it? Propaganda is a powerful thing.

There is no difference between the Health Care TRUTHER NUTTERS and the 9-11 TRUTHER NUTTERS. They are the same kind of folks. “With everything you’re hearing, the truth is always something else.” People demonstrate against health care – Its a conspiracy. People don’t want Government Health Care – they’re in the pocket of Big Insurance. Never mind that the Public Option is a massive sop to the Democrats favorite constituencies: Trial Lawyers and Unions. Its awfully hard to think about the truth when you’re being told over and over again to be afraid, and who’s to blame for it. Well, its a serious time folks. And its time for serious people.

These people are looking around and finding their cover slipping. The truth is cutting through the lies. Sure, disinformation leaks in. It’s also the duty of every citizen to seek the truth for themselves. But in answer to a concerted effort to turn back involuntary edicts that will damage this country for generations to come, the Leftists are pulling out of the closet programs not seen since the days of the Soviet apparatchik. The term then was called “knocking”, where “to inform was doing one’s duty”. It replaced patriotism as a state-sponsored form of vigilance.

A Republican senator is calling for the White House to suspend a new project that asks members of the public to flag “fishy” claims about President Obama’s health care plans, arguing that it raises privacy concerns and will serve to chill free speech.

Sen. John Cornyn, R-Texas, is sending a letter to the White House today asking the president to “cease this program immediately” — or to explain how Americans’ privacy will be protected if e-mails are forwarded to the White House as requested.

“I am not aware of any precedent for a President asking American citizens to report their fellow citizens to the White House for pure political speech that is deemed ‘fishy’ or otherwise inimical to the White House’s political interests,” Cornyn writes

“I can only imagine the level of justifiable outrage had your predecessor asked Americans to forward emails critical of his policies to the White House. I suspect that you would have been leading the charge in condemning such a program — and I would have been at your side denouncing such heavy-handed government action.”

Life where “knocking” became a form of patriotism and a way of life produced millions of disconnected, unhappy souls, driving them into shells of loneliness and fear. Which is exactly where your average Leftist wants your American citizen. Alone, afraid, isolated. Then they can spread the big friendly arms of government and wrap them in warmth.
