Bush admits he’s an “authoritarian”

The only thing I miss about Bush is his tangled syntax, which sometimes inadvertently revealed the truth. Speaking about a book he’s writing about 12 decisions he made about America, he said in a speech in Canada:

I’m going to put people in my place, so when the history of this administration is written at least there’s an authoritarian voice saying exactly what happened.

He meant to say, “authoritative.” But his Freudian slip revealed his real belief in tyranny over the lives of Americans.

After 8 years of Bush, there isn’t must freedom left in America, that’s for sure.

There’s a pattern here…
