New website for California municipal jobs debuts

Our friends at the CaliforniaCityNews blog have launched their new job board, which is designed to help both employers and job seekers succeed in a crowded job market.  You may check it out at this link.

Municipal agencies can that are looking to fill a vacancy, can list their openings and have it distributed to over 5,000 city staff and officials each week.

And If you are looking for your next job, you can post your resume for free and even contact prospective employers via this new website.

And I am told that this week the site’s publisher is running a special on job postings — half off if you enter “cityjobs” as a coupon code when checking out.

What a great idea in this tough market!  We wish our friends at CaliforniaCityNews all the best on this new effort to help folks who need jobs in the municipal arena.
