Yeah, we all know the good Senator is sinking into permanent PTSD-influenced dementia, but what strikes me is watching airhead Sarah standing at his side. I was expecting at least a double-take at his Freudian slip; maybe she was just contemplating how PURTY she looks:

You know who did notice though even if Palin didn’t, was young Meghan McCain (to John’s left, she of the “tire swing video.”) Watch what she does with her eyes when her dad says “fellow prisoners,” it’s funny.
