Well, this is how politics work in Orange County. When Santa Ana businessman Dr. Arturo Lomeli announced he was taking on Lisa Woolery in Area 3 of the Rancho Santiago Community College District, it was only a matter of time before other Latinos were recruited to dilute the Latino vote. And that is exactly what has happened. Remember, only one of these candidates can win in Area 3. Here is a list of the challengers for the RSCCD Board of Education, Area 3, as per the Orange County Voter Registrar:

It’s time the voters in this country begin to show that they can be sophisticated and distinguish the real deal from the talking points. If we continue to allow our elections to be manipulated by tactics like this we will continue to have results like we’ve gotten – abuse of power and corruption.
Hopefully blogs will provide a convenient place to research whats really going on with our candidates and elections. I appreciate the additional information I gain from reading them.
