Hi, I found this article while researching Alex Cherniss, who is likely to be appointed Superintendent of Beverly Hills Unified…
I did read it. But not before the comment. Then I decided not to correct it because the more times…

It's in the article too if you read it.
Well, if we're opening it up to bands that DON'T have songs about "wanting it all/everything," then The Clash is…
Then that's my standard. I don't dislike the Ramones but (to my untrained) it all sounds the same. Cosplay? That's…
I'm going to celebrate this disagreement by nominating as "the song of Winter 2025": "I Wanna Be Sedated." (And Heart…
Great question. You should investigate it. I think I noted previously that Ma is running for higher office this year,…
I have faith in your reading comprehension, Ryan, should you decide to employ it.
All right, if your standard is chameleon-like talent and facile musical cosplaying. But this particular Ramones song is sure better…

The more I hear your song for Debbie the more I like like it – and I liked it right from the first time I heard it. I’m thinking a mobile billboard with Dana wearing panties on his head playing that song up and down the beach. Awww it’s a waste of gas – but it would be fun! Debbie’s too much of an environmentalist to agree to it though.
You need to play this everywhere you can! It shows how far out in left field Debbie Cook and her supporters really are.
This may work for the Code Pink liberal extremists, but that’s not going to carry much weight in Costa Mesa, HB.
SMS, obviously this is the flip side of my last post, which had – I lost count – at least 2000 words? #3 probably hasn’t heard the song or didn’t listen to the words. Code Pink? Where is the war mentioned? I’ve actually performed this song for groups of Republicans, who were convinced to vote Debbie. So yes I think we’ll stick with it (I wish the video were done already though… having lots of frustration with that.)
#1 Another obvious point in posting that picture right after “Mirror Mirror” is to show how the Democratic Party is unified, in contrast to the GOP whose crises are typified in the mutual hatred of Dana & McCain.
And #3, the verses of this song tell the true stories of things Debbie did to protect our environment in HB. And the most political lines are:
“It’s high time to repudiate the politics of hate and fear,”
“We’re taking back our liberty,”
and
“Bush/Cheney Yes-men have to go on the ash heap of history.”
If those lines sound “far left” and “extremist” and “Code Pink” to you, that says more about you than us. It suggests you are one of those 29% Bush Dead-enders. It’s cool. We liberals respect the rights of minorities. Keep the faith, bro! And enjoy your decade or two in the wilderness.
