Well, no surprise. Assemblyman Jose Solorio blew it again. Steven Greenhut gave us the dirty details in a post at the Orange Punch blog:
Assembly Public Safety Committee Chairman Jose Solorio again rolled over for the police unions by stopping legislation that would allow the public to have information about disciplinary hearings of misbehaving cops. Last year, Solorio refused even to bring SB 1019 to a vote. This year, he claimed he wanted a middle ground — but the bill before him was already amended to deal with the concerns raised by the law-enforcement lobby.
Solorio chairs the Public Safety Committee, doesn’t he? And yet he rather cover up for dirty cops than inform the public. What a hack!
Please know we have another option in November. Even if you are a Democrat you DON’T have to vote for Solorio. You can vote for Cam Mangels, the Republican facing off against Solorio in the general election. Check out his views – they aren’t bad. He even admits that our immigration process is too slow.
Solorio doesn’t deserve your vote in November. He is a useless union hack and he does not care about the public. I urge all my readers in the 69th Assembly District to vote for Mangels and send Solorio a strong message!
Solorio thinks the public should know nothing of their police officers. He should have voted to release the information that his constituents can find on their own. Rate YOUR cop.

Great,
Jose has Art Pedroza and his co-crazy blogger SMS criticizing him. He is off to a great start. Art did Ken Maddox thank you for all the hard work you did on his behalf in the CUSD Special election and recall? Ill make sure Jose Solorio says thank you to for going after him.
Paul –
How does pointing out that Solorio made a mistake make me crazy? All I did was offer an alternative to expecting the government to regulate itself.
If I were you I would seriously consider leaving my name out of your posts lest I embarrass you again.

Did anyone else get a flash back of Monty Python and the Holy Grail just now?
Now go away or I shall taunt you a second time.
Yeah, yeah. I use classical English on occasion to complement my admittedly stylistic grammar. So sue me!
Since you appear to be trying to lighten things up, I should point out that there’s another quote from that movie that correlates to your political career: ‘bring out your dead; bring out your dead!‘

Paul,
By all means please go away.
Actually…….
Solorio refused to cast a vote.
Do we really send politicians to Sacramento to NOT vote?
Take a stand Jose…..Yes or No
