Who has given money to the Measure G tax increase campaign?

Earlier today Thomas Gordon posted about the campaign finance report filed by the Measure G School Bond campaign, which is clearly working with the majority on the Santa Ana Unified School District’s Board of Trustees. Now one of our readers has carefully compiled a list of who the major donors to this fraudulent tax increasing Measure are:

Santa Ana KIDS 2008, political action committee:

Major Donors:

$ 50,000 Ghataode Bannon Architects (Tustin)

$ 25,080 George K Baum investment banking firm (Denver Colorado)

$ 25,000 PCM3 (Benicia CA, construction management firm)

$ 20,000 GKK Works (Irvine, architecture firm)

$ 20,000 Donald Krotee Partnership (Santa Ana, architectural firm)

$ 10,000 JL Cobb Painting contractors (Lake Forest)

$ 10,000 NTD Architecture (San Diego)

$ 10,000 Law Firm of Atkinson, Andelson, Loya, Ruud & Romo (Cerritos)

$ 8,584 Minako America Corporation (Gardena)

$ 8,000 Penco Engineering (Irvine)

$ 5,000 P.H. Hagopian Contractors, Inc. (Orange)

$ 5,000 M Grath Rentcorp dba Mobile Modular Mangement (Livermore, CA)

$ 4,000 TMAD Taylor & Gaines (Pasadena, engineering firm)

$ 4,000 Santa Ana Educators Association

$ 3,500 HMC Architects (Irvine)

$ 2,500 Modular Structures (Riverside)

$ 1,165 Rob Richardson, SAUSD school board member

$ 1,000 Friends of Lou Correa

$ 1,000 Randy Barth (Think Together After School Programs)

$ 1,000 Jane Russo, SAUSD Superintendent

$ 1,000 Audrey Yamaga-Noji, SAUSD school board member

$ 1,000 Ron Murrey, SAUSD Assistant Superintendent

$ 227,634 raised (including in kind)

$ 85,466 spent

Why did the “immigrant millionaire,” SAUSD Trustee Jose Hernandez, only give $500 to the Measure G campaign?  His fellow Trustees, Richardson and Noji, each gave at least $1 ,000, but Hernandez is far wealthier than them.

I believe Thomas is working on a follow-up piece about how the Measure G campaign is blowing their money. That post should be up soon.
