Republicans in the 46th Congressional District will have a choice on June 3. No longer will they have to cast their vote blindly for “Crazy” Dana Rohrabacher. This year they can vote for Ron St. John (pictured above with his family), a Huntington Beach resident and a graduate of the University of Southern California with degrees in philosophy and law, who has 26 years of experience as an attorney in real estate, commercial and Constitutional law.
Tomorrow I will be interviewing St. John at 12 noon on Blog Talk Radio, along with my co-host and fellow Orange Juice blogger Vern Nelson. You may call in and ask your own questions as well, at (646) 478-0143. We will introduce St. John to our listeners, and readers, and ask him why he is running and how he intends to take out “Crazy” Dana. If you miss the show, you can listen to it later at this link.
St. John is running for Congress with a pledge to work with his party’s nominee, Senator John McCain, on immigration and other issues for the kind of practical, realistic solutions that people should expect from the Republican Party, which St. John feels is the standard-bearer for fiscal responsibility, free trade, justice, and a strong national defense.
For yard signs, bumper stickers, and to volunteer to make phone calls to voters in June, send your contact information private email.
St John came by my piano gig at Baci tonight, real nice guy.
Finally the GOP is reevaluating the nutjobs that they’ve allowed to fester on the party’s dime.
B-1 Bob Dornan was the reason for Loretta Sanchez’ victory and successful reelections as a Democrat in traditional Republican territory. Now she’s entrenched because she’s done a good job for the people. Not to mention that she’s never embarassed herself like B-1B did, as an entitled member of the royal GOP family- yelling and demanding on planes while drunk and other pathetic behavior.
Get rid of Rohrabacher. He’s another embarassment that should have been put to pasture a long time ago.
I also hate the new format and think you made a big mistake, Art. There’s no site meter here to see what your numbers are, but I bet they are down and down hard.
The very least you should have done was to create this as a mirror site before making the decision to go with SMS suggested format.
It also appears to be the “Vern and Sarah” site. The old flavor is missing.
#2,
I could not agree more. The OC GOP won’t advance until they get rid of their crazies.
As for your comments about our new blog, I do take them to heart and I appreciate your thoughts. We have fixed our Sitemeter link. It is on the right sidebard below our BNN ranking.
We did have a rough first week, but we still came in seventh on the BNN rankings this week, which is pretty good, and our numbers are picking up again.
I had no choice but to make the switch. The software we were using before was just too limited. Now the sky is the limit! Please be patient as we should have most of the bugs worked out soon.
Thanks for reading the new Orange Juice blog!
