“Sen. Barack Obama accused rival Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton today of attempting to “hoodwink” and “bamboozle” voters into thinking she was the front-runner by offering him the second slot on her ticket,” according to the L.A. Times.
And it appears that several former Democratic Senators have finally had enough of Hillary and her ridiculous antics:
Daschle said Obama does not have “any interest in being vice president,” because “he’s going to be our presidential nominee.”
“It’s really a rare occurrence, maybe the first time in history, that the person who’s running No. 2 would offer the person who’s running No. 1 the No. 2 position,” Daschle said. (Washington Post)
Former Senator Gary Hart was one of the many long-term party activists who was appalled by Clinton’s pumping up of John McCain while patronizingly dismissing Barack Obama. He decried her comments: “By saying that only she and John McCain are qualified to lead the country, particularly in times of crisis, Hillary Clinton has broken that rule, severely damaged the Democratic candidate who may well be the party’s nominee, and, perhaps most ominously, revealed the unlimited lengths to which she will go to achieve power. She has essentially said that the Democratic party deserves to lose unless it nominates her.” (Buzzflash.com)
Former Presidential Candidate and Senator Bill Bradley was quoted in a London newspaper: Bradley believes that Clinton will stop at nothing to tear down Obama even if it boosts John McCain, who was confirmed last week as the Republican nominee:
Back on October 22, 2007 this is what Pedroza had to say about Obama: “This looks to me like additional proof that Obama is NOT ready for prime time.”
http://www.theorangejuice.com/2007/10/obama-includes-anti-homosexual-crusader.html
Now Pedroza has added the Illinois Senator to his list of political crushes along with Janet Nguyen and Michele Martinez.
Why the change of heart about Obama?
Just admit that it is your hatred of Hillary that leads you to post this garbage. You said yourself, Obama isn’t ready for prime time.
Sean,
Wow! I did not know I made such an impression on you.
Four months ago no one thought Obama had a shot. He has since won far more primaries and caucuses than shameless Hillary. And he has inspired thousands of new voters.
What has Hillary done in the meantime? Lie her pants off! No wonder you like her! You generally back only the most corrupt and disgusting politicians you can find, like your boy Sal Tinajero on the SA City Council.
By the way, Obama did take some heat for campaigning with a gospel singer that has issues with homosexuals, but Bill Clinton signed the “Defense of Marriage Act,” which effectively banned gay marriage! And Hillary DID NOT complain at the time, did she?
I changed my mind about Obama by the way because the GOP candidates turned out to be a joke. Obama is the only candidate left who can inspire his fellow Americans.
Whether or not Obama is ready for prime time, it appears he is headed for the White House. As for Hillary? Her campaign has been a complete joke! She might be headed for the nut house after she loses…
“You generally back only the most corrupt and disgusting politicians you can find, like your boy Sal Tinajero on the SA City Council.”
Don’t let facts get in the way of your slander. (You usually don’t)
Please share with all of your readers one “corrupt” thing that Sal has done.
Here is the definition of “corrupt” so please respond based on the definition:
cor
Sean,
Well, Sal told several lies about why he threw Thomas off the EPIC Commission. He even told one whopper about Thomas beating up some old lady!
And didn’t Sal pimp for a new home development in his neighborhood that would have driven up the value of his own property? In fact when Thomas and George Collins outed Sal, he responded by throwing Thomas off Epic. The decision had nothing to do with any made up old ladies…it was just Sal covering up for his B.S.
It will be funny to see Sal scramble when he comes up for reelection. How will he explain raising both our water and sewage rates? Sal has been a cancer for the working poor in Santa Ana…
Obama and Clinton have a lot going for them.
They both will be Senators during McCains presidency.
“Sal told several lies about why he threw Thomas off the EPIC Commission”
Did you hear them yourself? Or is this just hearsay? Any proof to back this up? Please provide it in order to justify this allegation.
“And didn’t Sal pimp for a new home development in his neighborhood that would have driven up the value of his own property?”
Actually the answer to that is, “NO”. Sal never pushed for this development at any time. Do you have any evidence to support this allegation.
As far as raising fees, rates, taxes, etc. how does that make him corrupt?
This looks like you have concocted some baseless allegations to try and prove your point. Try again. Your claim of “corrupt” just doesn’t hold water Pedroza.
Sal will have a much easier time explaining things to the voters then some of the things that will arise with your beloved candidates. Trust me on that.
“Former Senator Gary Hart”
Weren’t you just slamming Hillary for getting support from Eliott Spitzer and other so-called “man whores”?
Now you use Gary Hart to prop up your Hillary bashing.
What a hypocrite Pedroza.
#7,
LOL! What can I say, it is hard to find decent Democratic Senators…
There is a reason why I have not joined the blue party after quitting the GOP.
You know what gets me about all these pervs, is that they all risked exposing their wives to STDs. Simply astounding. That is just wrong on so many levels.
At least Obama seems to be happily married. You sure can’t say that for Hillary and Bill. He is lucky Hillary wasn’t a Latina. She may well have pulled a “Lorena Bobbitt” on him…
“At least Obama seems to be happily married.”
So did Spitzer and Larry Craig.
Flip Flop Art,
There you go again — projecting yourself. Maybe with a little therapy you can learn to be comfortable around strong women.
Don’t you get that the media is spinning stories yet? You are it’s target — “the gullible”.
Smart people are very aware that HRC’s comment was directed to the fact that she has the strength of experience to vie against the republican nominee. In other words, the nomination of HRC is assurance that true democrat voters won’t retreat when the real mudslinging begins.
I, like other democrats, are not relying on flip-floppers like you, Art, to be on our side in November.
HRC has won every debate and has proved she can win this race. And she is just getting started.

HRC teletyped a message to Obama supporters that maybe they’d see a Clinton/Obama ticket. And the exit polls from last night’s election seem to bear that out.
BHO keeps harping about change, just like IKE, JFK, Nixon, Bush I and Bush II. They all proclaimed change. One could surmise – business as usual. Nothin’ new about invoking change agent mantle.
And since BHO wants to make judgement the benchmark for the primaries –Barak Hussien Obama never had the opportunity to vote up or vote down the act to go to war. BHO was not serving in the U.S. Senate. All he did was make a anti-war speech in his senatorial bid against Alan Keyes. And that’s because Keyes was so anti-war at the time.
