It looks like Bill Clinton may have to stand on a street corner with a “will pimp Hillary for food” sign. “Officials with both campaigns have said Obama raised $32 million in January and Clinton $13.5 million, a significant gap between the two that allowed Obama to place ads in virtually every Super Tuesday state and get a head start on advertising for the next primaries and caucuses,” according to ABC News.
Even worse for the Clintons – they had to lend their campaign five million dollars in order to try to keep up with Obama! Isn’t that interesting? Folks are not giving their money to the Clintons. And Hillary only won New York, her “home” state, by 15 points, whereas Obama trounced her in HIS home state, Illinois.
Has Clinton fatigue set in? I think so. Obama can still win the nomination, and from the sound of it, he will be spending a ton of money in the last few primaries and caucuses, whereas Hillary and Bill will be scribbling IOU’s.
This time Bill can’t pardon a bunch of criminals in return for “donations” as he did when he left the White House and applied the donations from criminals to his Library fund.

And her top staffers are skipping paychecks for the month of February. We all know what happens when campaigns start cutting payroll and pumping in their own financial resources. Just look at Giuliani and Mittens.

It wasn’t too long ago that John McCain was flying coach and carrying his own luggage because he had NO money. Hmmm
Furthermore, it was generally touted that Hillary’s war chest was overflowing with cash. It is not. I am certain the disclosure that Sen. Clinton loaned her campaign $5m will primp the pump for online campaign donations. After all, the reports claim she took in $3m this past Tuesday.
Your lack of perspective is confounding. Publicly graffiting your lack of understanding this game of politics somewhat explains your lazy post.
By way of comparison, the Obama campaign announced this morning they they have raised $7.2 million since the first polls closed on Tuesday.
Orange Soda,
Hillary Clinton is clearly not John McCain. You are right, he’s an exception to that scenario that I described… low on cash and then makes a comeback.
John McCain has fought for campaign finance reform and has made it somewhat of a signature issue. You don’t hear Hillary Clinton doing that.

LMAO …
What does campaign finance reform have to do with your original post citing the financial state of Hillary’s campaign?
Romney spent nearly $50 million, of his own money, to finance his failed bid and you choose to chide Hillary.
Eres loco.
Hey, I’m suspicious of anyone, including Romney, who can throw their spare change into their campaign kitty and call it a loan to buy whatever political office.
McCain’s campaign finance reform has put himself at somewhat of a disadvantage in terms of fundraising because he looks hypocritical. He has even discussed this on Charlie Rose and with other reporters. You don’t think that there is a relationship between finance reform and the ability to self-finance a run for office?
We should chide both Hillary and Romney. How much of her personal fortune will she dump into this endeavor? It is being reported that Romney spend somewhere around $50 million of his money. The Clintons’ estimated worth is somewhere between $35-50 million.
Pimping hillary? A new low even for a paleo-reactionary like you Arturo. Heres a quote from a real journalist describing what life would be like in a non hateful world, “Goodbye to the HRC nutcracker with metal spikes between splayed thighs. If it was a tap-dancing blackface doll, we would be righteously outraged
If the truth was told…..Hillary
supporters are mainly women that
always wanted to see a President
that was a woman.
The real truth is: It would be
historic and very fun to elect
the first black President – and
be able to say so…years later!
