Todd Spitzer returned my call at 7 PM to advise me that the Santiago fire is now entering the Cleveland National Forest. That is not good news.
He also pointed out our antiquated aircraft which needs to be brought to the attention of the Fire Authority.
It’s worth noting that we discuss preparations for 100 year floods yet are not prepared to deal with major brush fires that occur evey few years. Think about it!
