The O.C. Register is reporting that 2,000 protesters showed up in Dana Point today to speak out against the President of Vietnam, Nguyen Minh Triet.
According to the Register, “busloads of Vietnamese-Americans descended on the St. Regis Monarch Beach Resort and Spa to protest his visit to the United States.”

How does this community expect any positive change to happen in Vietnam when they try to terrorize that’s country’s leaders?
The Vietnamese are being pretty divisive.
Instead of meeting with and attempting to work with Vietnam’s leaders to address human rights issues, they shun them and try to attack them when they do come to this country to discuss issues with those that will listen. Some people are willing to move on from the past and try to make positive change for today’s Vietnam.
Why is Janet Nguyen participating in the rallys and hostile group actions?
According to the LA Times, the people rallying attacked the wrong car and engaged in terrorizing innocent people staying at the Dana Point hotel. That kind of behavior should not be condoned or tolerated.
I would respect Janet more if she was making an attempt to meet with Vietnam’s leaders to try and resolve today’s issues and do something positive but, apparently, she’s not.
