Protest against day laborers in Mission Viejo Sat Jan 20th

At the Jan 15th Mission Viejo city council meeting several residents of Lake Forest, and a member of the Minutemen, spoke during our Public Comments about the relocation of “day laborers” from what is called the horshoe of Orange Jeronimo and Cherry in the city of Lake Forest down the street to Los Alisos and Jeronimo in Mission Viejo. One speaker said there would be a protest this Saturday Jan 20th from 8 AM to 11 AM at the intersection of Los Alisos and Jeronimo in Mission Viejo.

Apparently Lake Forest recently passed an Ordinance dealing with congregating on street corners that may have emulated one passed in the city of Agoura Hills that was challenged by day laborers in which the courts upheld the city position.
