Williams endorsed by CRA and DeVore
Ryan Gene Williams, the lone GOP candidate for the 69th Assembly District, was unanimously endorsed tonight by the CRA, and was endorsed this weekend by Assemblyman Chuck DeVore. He was also interviewed on Telemundo’s Channel 52 tonight. Go Ryan!

Some people seem to be making a big thing out of Ryan getting endorsements, like it actually means something.
He’s the only Reep in the race, and only bad Republicans like Art would suggest the party faithful back a Dem. (Note his support of Correa over Daucher)
Ryan Gene is a carpetbagger from Texas with no political track record and no connection to this community.
The Republican standards have really dropped when this is what some consider a good candidate.
On the other hand, we could all line up like lemmings and vote for Claudia who has:
Accepted cash and gifts from developers both before and after voting for a project before Council.
Done NOTHING to make Santa Ana safer, cleaner, smarter, wealthier,
more efficient, modern.
Voted for projects that may have been responsible for the deaths of children…ie… Markland.
Stated our Police and Firefighters are overpayed.
Insulted citizens and fellow Councilmembers.
Refused to talk to or listen to Citizens.
Threw tantrums like a spoiled 5 year old.
Been investigated for several instances of taking $$$ ala Ted Moreno.

So you really think I am backing Correa over Lupe Moreno? Have you lost leave of your senses? Now if Daucher wins the primary, I intend to ignore her. As it turns out, I live in Ackerman’s district. So Daucher won’t be my problem. And mark my words – she will lose, and lose big.
As for Ryan, he is our only candidate and he has proven to be smart and charming. He is eminently better than Daucher – or her soul-sister Claudia Alvarez.
besides, since when has being from Texas been such a bad thing?
it’s a state that is in much better shape than california, and ryan could help bring in some life to the district.
as far as being a carpet bagger is concerned, he at least live in the district that he’s running to represent.
