Campbell serious about illegal immigrants after all
There were many charges flung about by supporters of Jim Gilchrist during the recent special election that sent John Campbell to D.C., to fill the seat vacated by Chris Cox, in the U.S. House of Representatives. However, Campbell got right to it by proposing an amendment to a major bill, that would take away federal funding from police departments that prohibit their employees from reporting the immigration status of suspected criminals to federal authorities.
In doing this, Campbell is going after the liberals in Los Angeles and San Francisco. Good job! I think Campbell’s proposal makes a lot of sense. I wonder if John and Ken, over at KFI AM Radio, are ready to apologize to him yet? They claimed he would not fight for issues related to illegal immigration, but he has proved them wrong right away. And he has done so in a carefully measured, yet impactful, manner. Well done Congressman…
