The Greater Orange News Service has started a “Rocco Recall Report,” which will focus on the effort to rid the Orange Unified School District of its loony trustee, Steve Rocco.
The latest report chronicles the possible candidacy of Democratic activist and attorney Florice Hoffman, who may run for Rocco’s seat if the voters recall him.
The biggest news in the past few weeks regarding the Rocco recall is that Red County/OC Blog editor Matt Cunningham has written that he will vote for Rocco if the only choice against him is Hoffman, whom he described as a “left-wing labor lawyer.”
That is of course the type of thinking that stuck the OUSD board with Rocco in the first place…

I too believe Orange Unified voter/residents(Some Santa Ana residents are also in the district and can vote) should vote for Steve Rocco. Steve is the only free thinker on the board willing to vote against the Administration who continue to ruin our kids education. A vote for Steve is a vote for change. Most os these recall people have a political agenda that has nothing to do with Mr. Rocco. If you don’t like Boardmember Rocco then vote against him at the next election but a recall is a huge waste of $$$ that should be buying books and materials in our classroom.
To call a political descendant a loon is old trick developed by Russian Communists.

I am not surprised that the OJ is subscribing to such trick.
