He’s Alive!
Pictured at left is GOP candidate for the 69th Assembly District Ryan Gene Williams, with Paul Lucas, the Democratic candidate for the 68th Assembly District. This picture was taken prior to Williams’ appendectomy.
Ironically, Lucas caught something, possibly at the hospital, and wound in the ER at St. Joseph’s last night when prolonged coughing caused respiratory distress.
Williams is still in recovery at the UCI Medical Center in Orange. His grandmother is there now, having flown in from Houston last night. She told me he made it to the last level before black belt, in karate, which is something I did not know about Williams.
Williams should be released in a couple of days – he is still not eating but is hoping to eat his first meal since his operation sometime tomorrow.

Wow I thought Ryan would have been released by now. I was the ER for about 6 hours getting breathing treatments with ALbuterol. I got released with some antibiotics and a puffer. Ironically, im going to be speaking at a meeting tomorrow night on Healthcare in Fountain Valley. Oh and Art, lil misprint, Im runnig for the 68th.
