I am enclosing a press release below from Matt Harper, a trustee with the Huntington Beach Union High School District. Apparently a seat is opening up on his school board and there is another in the neighborhing Los Alamitos Unified School District.

Effective June 30, 2004, Robert Mann is to resign as a member of the Huntington Beach City School District Board of Trustees.
It has yet to be determined if the school board intends to appoint a new member or leave the position vacant until the November 2004 General Election for the remainder of the term.
